Privacy Policy and Terms of Use
  • The RE Rebate (Red Envelope) Platform (hereafter referred to as the ‘Platform’) is operated by RE APP SDN.BHD. (hereafter referred to as ‘the Company’). We respect your privacy and strive to protect your rights. To protect your personal data, we duly disclose the information relating to your personal data in this Personal Data and Privacy Policy Statement (hereafter referred to as the ‘Privacy Policy’) in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Act and relevant regulations before any data collection activities take place.
A、Scope
  • This Privacy Policy covers the activities associated with the collection, processing, using, international transmission, and protection of your data during your visit to the Platform, excluding activities on external platforms or web pages operated by any third-parties that are linked through the Platform.
B、Rights of Users

  • Right to access - You have the right to know how we process to your personal data, as well as the right to request access to it.

C、Purpose and Ways of Collection
  • The Company collects personal data for the purposes of marketing, customer management, internal statistical processing and analysis, member management, and business registration or establishment of charter. Personal data is collected when you register for a membership and use the services on the Platform. You may choose whether to provide your personal data in full or in part. However, certain data will be required for certain functions, services, or activities offered through the Platform. You will be restricted from certain platform functions, services, or activities if the required personal information to access them is unavailable.
D、Types of Personal Data Collected - The following types of personal data are collected through the Platform.
  • Demographic Data: including but not limited to name, telephone number, age, sex, birth date, and email.
  • Personal Preferences: including but not limited to favorite recreational activities, hobbies and interests, and favorite sports, and lifestyle, e.g. details on types of consumer products and services preferred.
  • Your personal data is stored in the browser of your computer and only accessible through the ‘cookies’ set up by the Company. You can access the information regarding when cookies are set up or refuse the use of cookies through the setup function of your browser.
E、For the different purposes of the various services offered by the Company or through the Platform, The Company collects your personal data in the following instances.
  • Membership Registration
    When you register to become a member, you will be requested to fill out a form which contains a rage of information, including but not limited to your name, sex, birthdate, mobile phone number, and residential address. This data set will enable you to log in and use the various services offered to members in the future.
  • Online and On-site Activities
    You are protected by this Privacy Policy when you provide personal data to participate in online activities or surveys.
  • Web Page Browsing
    When you browse or make inquiries on this Platform or any affiliated portals, this Platform's server will automatically record the IP location, time, and browsing activities. As we continue to improve the quality of our web service, this dataset will be used only for web traffic analysis and web service optimization. The data is will only be used for overall web traffic analysis. We will not contact any individual user.
  • Other
    In addition to the personal data directly provided by you, the Company may also receive your personal data provided by a supplier of the Company under your consent or for the purpose of fulfilling its contract. This data will only be used and processed within the scope of your consent or contract fulfillment. We will not use this data outside of this scope.
E、Time, Location, Objects, and Ways of Personal Data Use
  • Time
    The Company will retain your personal data for as long as the Company is in operation. Unless stipulated otherwise, the period remains as you continue to use the services offered by the Platform and its affiliated portals or until you make a request to stop the use of your personal data.
  • Location
    You personal data will only be used within Taiwan and the areas where this Platform and its affiliated portals are available. Your data will not be transferred for use in other areas. Members' personal data will be used globally.
  • Objects
    Unless stipulated otherwise, your personal data will be used within the scope of services you consented to and the associated internal processing of this Platform. We will not disclose your personal data to any third-party or use it for other purposes without your consent. However, in the event that your personal data is required for the fulfillment of a contractual obligation, the Company will provide your data to an organization engaged in joint events or campaigns.
  • Ways
    In addition to the purposes of member marketing, customer management, internal statistical processing and analysis, and member management, the Company may also use your personal data in the following ways when needed:
    • Member Data
      The data you provided when registering for membership may be used to analyze your personal behavior on the platform to facilitate our continuous effort to provide you the information you need and design member activities.
    • Statistical Analysis
      The Company may carry out statistical analysis on the collective behavior of our members with the data you provided during membership registration and the records generated by the server during your browsing. Please rest assured that we do not carry out analysis on personal behavior.
    • Marketing and Services
      The Company will use the data you provided, including the location of your residence, birthdate, and mobile phone number, for the purpose of promotions organized by the Company or its collaborating vendors. The Company will also use your personal data to facilitate membership services and benefit allocation (e.g. events and campaigns).
    • Government or Law Enforcement
      The Company may disclose all your data collected by this Platform to government agencies and law enforcement when requested.
G、Consent
  • Based on the terms laid out in this Privacy Policy, your agreement to using the services provided by the Company expresses your understanding and consent to our collecting, using, retaining, disclosing, and transmitting your personal data as laid out in 3-6 of this Privacy Policy.
  • Your consent to the collection of your demographic data and personal preferences: You hereby give your consent to the Company to collect and process the data you provided and generated over the Platform (please see 5 for details), including general demographic data and personal preferences (please 4 for details).
  • Your consent to data usage by a third-party: You hereby give your consent to the Company to supply your personal data to organizations engaged by the Company for joint operations and contract fulfillment.
H、Personal Data Access and Rectification
  • You may access, complete, or update your personal data by logging into the Platform or by sending a request to service@myre.life at any time. Your request to rectify or update your personal data can be made free of charge. If you have any questions or complaints regarding our privacy policy, terms of use, your registered personal data, or any information regarding the use, retaining, disclosure or transmission of your personal data, or if you need further information on our data protection policy or security measures, please contact our customer service personnel via email (service@myre.life).
I、International Transmission of Personal Data
  • If you are not a user residing in Taiwan, for the purposes and activities laid out in 3-6, we will need to transmit your personal data to Taiwan. You agree to such data collection, use, and transmission because you understand that the recipient of such data is subject to the same legal and contractual obligations provided by the Personal Information Protection Act and relevant regulations.

  • The collected personal data is held by RE Co., Ltd. Taiwan (address: 3F., No. 51, Ln. 258, Ruiguang Rd., Neihu Dist., Taipei City), and the data protection personnel can be contacted through email (service@myre.life ).
K、Security of Personal Data
  • The Company will take the proper measures to secure the safety of your personal data, and make the best efforts through reasonable technology and practices to protect your personal data from theft, unconsented alteration, damage, loss, unconsented disclosure, and other incidents that may jeopardize your membership rights in accordance with the relevant laws and regulations. Based on our Privacy Policy, you may revoke your consent to us for use, retaining, disclosure, or transmission of your personal data by contacting our customer service personnel via email (service@myre.life). However, please be reminded that revocation of your consent may prevent us from providing continuous services or fulfilling our contractual obligations to you, including but not limited to terminating your access to the Platform.
Ｌ、Retaining and Deleting Data
  • We will retain your personal data only when it is required for service provision and to facilitate legal and necessary operations--for example, maintaining the functions of the services offered through the Platform, making data-driven business decisions relating to new functions and products, fulfilling legal obligations, and resolving disputes. As long as you are a user of the services offered through this Platform, we will continue to retain part of your personal data, e.g. your account information. However, upon your request, we will act immediately to delete or anonymize your personal data to conceal your identity, unless the law disallows us or one of the following situations arise:
  • When there are unresolved issues in your account, e.g. unsettled payment(s), indemnity, or dispute(s). In such cases, we will retain the necessary personal data until the issues are resolved.
  • When required by laws, taxation requirements, or audit/accounting obligations. We will retain the necessary personal data within the mandated period.
  • When required to maintain our legal business rights, e.g. prevent fraud or secure user safety.
M、Revision of the Privacy Policy
  • The Company may revise this Privacy Policy without prior notice. In event it is revised, we will publish the revised content on the Platform to inform all members. For your personal interest, please pay close attention to the revisions. Your continuous use of the services offered by this Platform and affiliated portals after any revision of this Privacy Policy is published means that you have read, understood, and accepted the content of this Privacy Policy after its most recent revision.
